I would only recommend watching this for those that want to say they've seen every Toho Godzilla movie.
All Monsters Attack (also released as
Godzilla's Revenge) is made for children. It stars a child, is directed towards children, seen through a child's eyes, and the plot deals with children's issues.
Almost all of the monster footage is re-purposed from other movies. There are even different versions of monster costumes in various scenes. This COULD be a "greatest hits"...if it were only a better movie.
The only reason I wanted to watch this "Toho Master Collection" version is for the very informative, often derogatorily humorous commentary track.
The character of Minilla ("Godzilla's son") is seldom seen in the Godzilla series and for that I'm thankful. I am no fan of Minilla. I do wish however that the "Gabara" monster made more appearances as the design is so bizarre that it quickly became one of my favorites.
